Yesterday went for FireFly - EDB scholarship interview round 1. The email stated that it was an interview "to get to know me better". Haha. But it was far more than that loh! Haha. Anyways reached the place super early. Thought I needed some time to find the place, but who knows it was that accessible. Haha. So settled down at Starbucks to have a nice warm cup of Vanilla Latte and read through some of my stuff. Haha. Then I went up. It's like the top floor of Raffles City Tower loh! The view was damn nice. And so was the place! The place was damn modern, with brightly coloured couches and sofas. Was really attracted to such an environment man! Haha. Waited for quite a while since I was super early. Anyways there was only one interviewer, but she really asked alot of questions man! Haha. Though it was quite a casual interview, I thought I didn't do too well. Spoke really fast man, especially at the start coz I was pretty nervous. Haha. But as the interview proceeded, I began to feel more comfortable. Anyway doesn't matter. Just hope I get to the next round. Heard there's like 3 to 4 rounds. Xiong sia!
Anyways Vincent and Joe also got into Imperial College le! Wahaha. I've got companion! Haha. Joe getting A*Star, while Vin getting DSTA or SembCorp I think. So wish everyone luck!
I seriously NEED a scholarship! *Prays really hard*
Oh today's damn sian lah. Nothing to do. So went to buy lunch for my family today. LOL. Went to opposite TJC the hawker there to buy. Such nostalgia. Remember those JC days where the hawker used to satisfy almost all my lunches. HAha. And TJC havent changed much.. other then they painting the buildings and looking much better. Haha. The good old JC that haven't changed much through 30 plus years of history. Haha. I just miss those days.
Haiz. The wait is torturous. I can't believe I waited like 4 months for my A level results! Please Email me quick! =X

I'm finally home!
At long last. Haha. 1 month passed pretty quickly. Can't say much about the trip here, but all I can say is that I pretty much enjoyed it. It was really fun most of the time, but then again, there are times of extreme boredom, when the only people to talk to is old uncles and dogs. LOL. But all the shopping and theme parks were great. Haha. The Taiwanese are too very nice people. Haha. Haha. Good trip. I really would want to go Taiwan again.. Haha.
But quite a number of things happened when I was away. 1st was the Imperial College interview. I missed it lah! I was damn scared that they would reject me based on that alone. So I sent them an email stating my reason. They said that they would TRY to give me a place based on results and my records alone. That sounded totally hopeless lah, considering the number of international applicants. But I was elated a few days later when they told me that the Dean of Engineering was satisfied with my records to grant me unconditional admission! That feeling was damn shiok man. Haha. I got in! Wahahaha. But then the issue of financial support struck me. I need a scholarship man! And these overseas ones are pretty difficult to get. Haiz. Suddenly had mixed feelings about my admission to ICL. But just as I was reading through the email, EDB emailed me. They had shortlisted me to go for an interview. Suddenly there was a ray of hope. Haha. But unfortunately, it was on the 23rd of March, and I was still in Taiwan. But luckily the could reschedule it, unlike the ICL one. Haha. Going for it on this Monday. I'm pretty stressed up over it. Haven't got a good experience in an interview. Exxonmobil one was TERRIBLE. Sad. Ok whatever. Just hope things turn out real fine.
Oh and I am damn retarded man. I actually locked myself out of my SIM card in Taiwan! I think I'm a genius. Seriously. I was talking one night with CK and Nic, and then I started playing with my phone, and in just FIVE MINUTES, poof. I was locked out. Damn stupid. But thank god for the pay phone in Taiwan. (and thanks to Maurice, Nic and CK for their phones. hahah) Ok so I had to spend $18 to get a new SIM card today. Went down to Parkway to get it done. Damn sian. haha. Anyway I can really understand why people keep saying that Singapore change really rapidly. Just 1 month and all the condominiums around Katong and East Coast are all completed. Haha. Ok then bought my favourite Iced White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks. Haha. Really feels like home. Haha. But the prices here suddenly seems damn steep. Things in Taiwan is considerably cheaper man. Haha.
Now to enjoy my 9 days break from the Army. Oh but then again, got quite some things to do these few days. Haha. Interviews and stuff. Start booking my BTT. I don't know. Good break from the repetitive and boring regimentation of the Army. Haha. 8 Months to go!
