With the holidays over, work resumed this week. No extra lessons this week so it's normal time table for me. 07/10 is such a lovely class. Haha. I have to say this coz they are really a damn fun class to teach. It's very similar to my class, 01/06 back then. Haha. They're a scholar class and they know when to listen and when to talk and have fun. They all do their tutorials way ahead of my tutorials. So I'm always able to complete whatever I plan to go through every lesson. It feels good and I am able to release them earlier sometimes, which means the students feel good too. And they are so proactive in class! So nice. Li Si also loves that class. Haha. It's quite a privilege to teach that class. It's like a mutual understanding between the students and me. Haha. =D

From a teacher's point of view, I don't mind students being weak in a subject, but it's their attitude that counts. Some students are self-delusional and they believe that they can ace a subject without doing tutorials, without attending lectures and without listening in class. And the thing is that they are so damn inconsiderate that they distract fellow classmates beside them. Absolutely atrocious. And it's detrimental to my vocal chord! I really can't stand such students. Although they are indeed the minority, but all you need is ONE of them in your class and that's it. What's more is that I've got FOUR in the SAME class! Gosh.. I have nothing to say already.

The 600th Post!

This is my 600th post already! The last couple of days have been impossibly fun but tiring. Haha.

Thursday
Started off Thursday with K session with Li Si, Shiying, Felix, John and Jiaying at Topone at Bugis.

The K session lasted a freaking 7 hours, almost as tiring as my tutorial sessions on thursdays! Haha. But it was damn shiok and definitely worth the money spent! Haha.

After that went over to Pasir Ris to meet up with the rest of CG00/10. We wandered around for like eons not knowing what to eat until someone mentioned the 3 magical letters - KFC! My most dreaded KFC! Haha. I avoided KFC at all cost after NS coz 2 years of KFC at Jurong Point's quite enough for me. =X And so in this democratic country, majority wins and so the opposition lost. Yupz, so it's decided... KFC! Haha. After dinner was finally off to the chalet! It was a pretty small place and most of the time, we were all cooped in the very small room of the chalet. Why? It's all thanks to the sweltering heat. Air conditioning is the preferred choice. Haha. Anyway the chalet was really fun and full of nonsense. Haha. Yes really full of nonsense. My students, or rather our students really should never get to see the pics. Haha. =D

Friday
Anyway stayed overnight at the chalet. Didn't sleep much due to all the cards, games and stuff.. And as a result, a very sleepy next day. So yupz, everything on Friday was done on the bed! Haha. Don't think dirty! Haha. =X

Haha. But lunch on Friday was great! Haha. Changi Village Nasi Lemak! Yumz!

Haha. But then again, how did we even get there? The 8 of us squeezed into Clovis's car! Haha. Yes no kidding, 8 of us!

Haha. It's damn funny! But then again coz Matthew and John are like almost close to weightless. Haha. So it wasn't THAT bad. =X Anyway then after that is more games and stuff at the Chalet. Haha.

 Play play play and tadah, it's dinner! Haha. Sooo much eating these 2 days! We simply eat, play and sleep. Haha. So yupz we settled dinner at BBQ Chicken at Downtown East. Haha.

CG00/10!

Didn't stay overnight this time round. Haha. Got another outing with CG01/06 the next day! Haha. Yea so I left after dinner with Jonathan and John. Haha.

Saturday

Another early morning for me, despite not sleeping much the last 2 days. Haha. Supposed to go out early to meet Vincent, John, Ye Wei and Yan Shan for lunch. But Vincent was super late and John and quite late. I, too, wanted to be late. Haha. The rain was just too alluring. But god knows why and how, I managed to get my butt off the bed. Haha. So me, shan and ye wei settled down at Superdog for lunch! It was quite nice, except the portion was rather small. John joined us later on.

After a late lunch, we decided to shop around Vivo as per normal and tadah, we ended up at Daiso again! Haha. Yanshan wanted to look around for some handicraft for a friend's gift so yupz we ended up at Daiso. Haha. Vincent met us there too! Haha.

 The best memories I have of Daiso was during JC, when we shopped like crazy at Daiso coz we had spare cash left from my Ideas In Action Project. Haha. Totally fun! Haha. That time was also with yanshan, vincent, plus bernard and ilyana. Haha. Really memorable days during JC. Miss them.=D

Ok after that went Pageone to nua and also coz I wanted to find a photo album. Haha. Yupz managed to get what I wanted. Met up with wanyee, wan ting, qihui and joe too! Haha. Yupz, so everyone who's supposed to turn up arrived! Haha. So we settled down for an earlier dinner at HK Gary Kim Cafe. Haha. I cannot imagine how I can squeeze anymore food in that tummy of mine, but I did. Haha. Anyway the food was quite alright.=D

So after that was finally movie! Ahha. There wasn't any nice slots for Alice in Wonderland in 3D so we watched it in 2D instead. For the very first time, I booked the tickets online using my bro's card and I got this receipt as the tickets instead of the stubs. Haha.

Quite a nice remake of the movie and yes the animation was great. Haha. Enjoyed the show.=D

After the movie, it was back to nua-ing and chit-chatting. Haha. Haven't see a few of them for quite some time already and yea, lots of catch-up to do. Haha.

Technology Blues...

Gosh I did a software update on my nokia n97 and my phone's going insane. As in really insane! It switches off and on on it's own and I occasionally have weird stuff appearing on my screen. Haha. Perfect. Disaster. What's more is that I'm not exactly a tech-genius (and I have no intention to be one either=D), so the only thing I can do is to stare at my phone and hope that it recovers on it's own. Omg, I can't be a doctor too. =X I will just sit there and pray. Wahaha. Omg I'm full of shit.

The next couple of day's gonna be really fun! Haha. Tomorrow's gonna be k with cg00/10, followed by chalet with them! Haha. Sat's gonna be cg01/06 outing. Haha. This is called making full use of my holidays. Haha. It will be a damn shag upcoming 3 days. Haha.

Oh and for today (just today..), my body clock's working in full swing. Haha. I actually managed to wake up early on a holiday! Haha. And so, I was off for a morning run. Haha. I actually haven't run in the morning since the Standard Chartered Marathon. Haha. The weather's murdering! Haha. It's damn hot. And to make matters worst, my stomach's growling all the way from home to Bedok Reservoir and back. Terrible feeling. I should stick with my evening runs. Haha. Oh and I haven't run long distances for quite some time already. So today's 10km was triple the toughness. Haha. Terrible.

Typing till now, my prayers are beginning to work! Haha. My phone's alive and kicking. Haha. And kicking harder than ever! Haha. The improved kinetic scrolling's cool! =D So that's all for now. Haha. Will be back on Sat or Sunday!

Consultations.. and Haagen Dazs!

Yesterday was a very long day of consultations, consultations and more conultations. Haha. Longer than my regular mondays. Haha. Tutored those kids for close to 7 hours, with the little 30 minutes break in between for me to have my lunch. Haha. Anyway it was quite nice lah. I really prefer teaching them one by one, or in small groups. It's so much easier that way. Haha. And I can talk more rubbish during consultations. Classroom teaching is so restrictive. =X

Anyway after all the consultations, it's time for some edible reward! Hahaha. Li Si drove me and john over to Tampines Mall to have ice cream with Shi Ying. Haha. The waffle at Haagen Dazs is awesome. I love it. Haha. And so is the macadamia nuts ice cream. Haha. Totally sinful, totally satisfying. This time we went there coz Li Si lent the Haagen Dazs VIP card from Mrs Ang and that she also have some vouchers there. Haha. So she decided to spend it on us! Wahaha. So nice. =D

Taking bus 10 from Tampines brings back lots of memories of my secondary school days. Haha. I'm missing those days. =(

Coincidence

Sometimes, things can happen so coincidentally, that it's too good( or bad) to be true. Haha. Nah, it's just that today I decided to go shop for some stuff at the supermarket and just as I was stepping out of my house, I saw Mrs Lim and her family walking past my house. Haha. Said hi and went on to shop. The moment I got into Colds Storage, I saw Mr Tong. Haha. I keep seeing them these days. Haha. LOL. Just a random sight.

Tomorrow, I'm going back to school to give consultation to some of my students. Hardworking kids. I seriously don't mind going back to help them if they need it. Haha. I'm more afraid of bochap students than enthusiastic ones. Have been actively doing summaries and finding past year questions for them to do as additional practice. Haha. The retest results from CG12 looks pretty good and yupz, it's quite encouraging. Haha. My hope is that during my half-year relief teaching stint in tjc, none of my students are left behind. Sounds like a gargantuan goal to achieve right? Haha. It is ,actually. But nonetheless, I will try. See how it goes. =D

Anyway they booked me from 9am all the way to 3pm. Haha. Where's lunch? I don't know either! LOL. I haven't had proper lunches these days. 4pm lunches are a common thing these days. Can't be too bothered by it already. Anyway the highlight is ice cream tomorrow evening! Li Si treating leh! Haha. Haagen Dazs ice cream.=D

One of my Dad's business partners recently came back from Vietnam and bought a few boxes of super nice civet coffee or Kopi Luwak as it's called. Haha. It's made with coffee beans that's consumed by the Asian Palm Civet and the defecated beans and then processed and made for human consumption. The catch is that these Civet Cats only consume the best beans around and hence, these beans are the best!The process in which the coffee is made is quite a turn off, but it smells and tastes heavenly! Haha. I'm so addicted to it. Haha. It makes the regular Nescafe coffee and Starbucks coffee smell and taste so... bland. Haha. Coffee coffee coffee.. =D

I need to get my butt out there for a run. The gloomy weather ain't helping. It's making me extra sleepy. Coffee ain't saving me from falling asleep too. Haha. Getting fat... and I just realised that I left my running shoes in school. Need to get it back tomorrow. =X

Satay Night!

Last day of term 1 already. Time passed so quickly we don't even realise it. Haha. So far my classes ain't giving me too much of a headache yet. Haha. Although the first test was horrible, I'm still optimistic since it's horrible across the board. Haha. Anyway, the key event yesterday was satay night! The annual TJC staff night. Haha. A night full of food, fun and nonsense. Haha. It was greeeeat. Haha. Had great fun. Anyway it was a nice way to end of Julia's(Oops.. I meant Mrs Wong's) relief teaching stint in tjc. Haha. Such pity that's she's leaving already, but oh wells. Haha. Wishing her all the best! =D

Anyway yesterday was out with 01 peeps. Had lunch with wanyee, joe, vincent and john at Kenny Rogers at Marina before heading over to K Box! Haha. Haven't been for Karaoke since Taiwan at the start of the year. Haha. Ye Wei joined us a bit later. Had a blast at K Box with all the nonsense and not to mention embarrassing stuff we did. Haha. Something got into us yesterday. haha.

Anyway after K, vincent and wanyee left 1st, which leaves john, ye wei and me. Haha. So we shopped around at Cityhall area. John wanted to get another pair of formal shoes, then ye wei's also looking for some office wear. Haha. Ye Wei's joining me as a Math relief at tjc from 5 April onwards! Haha. Yayness, more fun in school. Haha. He will be a good addition to CG00/10 once Ser Yang, Felix enlists in the army, and Eugenia and Julia leaves. Haha.  Oh on a random note, I saw Theen Yew at Suntec too! Haha.

Anyway after that we had dinner at Asian Kitchen. Haha.

My life has been full of laughter recently, so much that I don't feel sad at all that I failed my driving test. Haha. Life's been quite stressful but I'm amazingly happy despite it. Haha. This is all thanks to the happy bums of CG00/10, my JC class of CG01/06, my TMS family, and not to mention, my kids in TJC, namely CG07,10,12 and 29/10. Haha. Yes I keep nagging at them like a granny but I still love my classes. Haha. Great kids. As for CG01/06, our friendship's into it's 5th year already. Haha. Hope it will only get stronger by the year! Hahaha. CG00/10 has been my source of happiness in school. You guys have made my relief teaching experience so much more fun and meaningful. Haha. My TMS family for being together as a great clique in it's 7th year already! Haha. It's so rare that friendships can withstand the test of time, and not to mention, such long periods of time. Haha. Read ser yang's blog and he mentioned something about friendships being periodic. Haha. Sounds depressing, but I guess sometimes, it takes effort to maintain strong friendships. Haha. =D

Omg I just realise that my last paragraph of rants sounds quite emo. Haha. I'm so not emo now. Haha. In fact, it's the exact opposite. Haha. I'm exceptionally happy these days. Hahahaha. =DDD

Ok so that's about it for now. I'm going for a run later.. Haha. I'm getting fat. Let me tell you my logic. If you are happy = eat more = fatter = more exercise needed. I'm at the last portion of the equation now. Hahaha.
